They became friends then started dating. The pair officially got married on 19th April 2018 in a luxurious wedding ceremony in Nyali, Mombasa. They did a second wedding in their hometown, together with his brother Abdu Kiba, at the lavish Serena Hotel in Dar Es Salaam. The bongo artist also has four other children from his previous relationships. His daughter Amiya Kiba, Prince Sameer Kiba, Jamal Kiba, and Chamy Kiba.

Controversy

In the music industry, wanted or unwanted controversy seems to plague and follow all superstars. For Ali Kiba, it has to be with fellow countryman, Diamond Platnumz. It all started when Ali Kiba self-proclaimed himself to be the 'King' of Bongo Flava by coining the name 'King Kiba'. On the other hand, Diamond claimed the mantle as the biggest artiste in Tanzania with his alias 'Simba'. The two don't seem to see eye to eye in a longstanding rivalry since the Mbagala hitmaker made a breakthrough in the East African showbiz sector.

The beef between Ali Kiba and Diamond Platnumz deepened and it took a terrible turn soon after Diamond Platnumz released the song ‘Fresh’. In the lyrics of the song, Diamond Platnumz tells Ali Kiba to stop comparing himself to him as they belong to different levels, insinuating that Ali Kiba is a class below him. “Ukinichukia sikosi hela hivyo kwangu sio kesi kuni-comare na Cinderella haiwezi kuwa fresh. Simba kutoka mbuga ya Tandale.” Ali Kiba then retorted back saying he doesn’t care and that a king will always be a king.

Efforts have been made by Diamond’s Wasafi camp to squash the beef. They invited Ali Kiba to perform at the Wasafi Festival but Ali Kiba turned down the invite with a scathing response on Instagram. He called out the Wasafi camp for lying about his scheduled performance. Will the pair squash their long-term beef? Only time will tell.

Cars

Celebrity life comes with its perks as Ali Kiba currently owns at least four top of the range cars. They include a BMW i8 Coupe, BMW X5 SUV, Range Rover Velar and a Mercedes Benz 280 SL. Now that’s a proper garage, wouldn’t you say?

House

Judging from his range of luxury cars, Ali Kiba’s house must match the status he enjoys. The singer reportedly owns a mansion in Dar es Salaam with its features befitting that of a king. It is said that the house comes with seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a tennis court, a gigantic living room, a pool, and a guest room.
